How to Use the Locator1. Survey the Area① Install the antenna and turn on the locator.② Rotate the "SENSITIVITY" knob to adjust the sensitivity to the maximum value (indicated by the largest circle dot). You will hear noise from the speaker. Set the mode to "Far".③ Hold the receiver and walk around the target area, slowly sweeping it back and forth.④ When the transmitter’s correct direction is detected, the signal will strengthen; otherwise, it will weaken.⑤ Once the signal display is full, gradually reduce the sensitivity by rotating the "SENSITIVITY" knob.⑥ Keep the receiver perpendicular to the ground and slowly move closer to the transmitter.When the sensitivity is adjusted to the minimum value (smallest circle dot) and the signal remains full, switch the mode to "Near".2. Pinpoint the Transmitter’s Location① Use the steps above to locate the transmitter’s approximate position, then switch to "Near" mode.② Rotate the "SENSITIVITY" knob to the maximum value (largest circle/dot). Slowly sweep the receiver within the estimated area.The signal strengthens as you near the transmitter and weakens if you move away.③ When the signal peaks, gradually lower the sensitivity by rotating the knob.At the minimum sensitivity (smallest circle/dot), if the signal remains strongest, this indicates the exact location of the transmitter (i.e., your sewer camera head’s transmitter).
